This is living!  (Frying Pan Pond on the Wood River)
We deliver & pick-up the kayaks/gear waterside so you don't have to run around renting and returning gear.  We'll meet you waterside at daybreak, after dinner, in the drizzling rain or whenever else you're ready to treat yourself.

Choose from:  Redfish 12' , Redfish 14' , Sit-inside  angler 9.5'.    See boats at-www.heritagekayaks.com/redfish12.htm. We provide the boat, lifevest, paddle, dry bag & area info too.

Kayak Fishing Rental Rates:  Life jackets and paddles included with rental.  Free delivery to South County waterways.  Outside area add $10 / delivery (not per kayak).

  1. Fishing Kayaks - Day rate - $70;  Additional consequative days, $55. 
  2. Up to 2 hours - $39.   
  3. 4 hours - $60.
  4. Guided Fishing Outings  - 4 hrs. w/ guide -$129.

Barber's Pond: West Kingston.  Acres: 28; Av. depth: 11 ft.;  Max. depth: 19 ft.  Known fish population:  Yellow and white perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, largemouth bass, pickerel, brown bullhead, eel, white and chub sucker.  Annual stocking. The largemouth bass state record of 9 3/4 pds. caught here.    maps.google.com/maps

Tucker Pond: South Kingstown.  Acres: 101; Av. depth: 11 ft: Max. depth: 32 ft.  Known fish population:  Yellow perch, bluegill sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, white perch, golden shiner, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, brown bullhead, American eel, banded killfish, stocked salmonmaps.google.com/maps

Worden's Pond: South Kingstown.  Acres: 1,075; Average depth: 4ft, Max depth: 7 ft. Known fish population:  Largemouth bass, chain pickerel, northern pike, bluegill, perch, smallmouth bass, brown bullhead. maps.google.com/maps


Salt Water Fishing:

Narrow River, Narragansett.  Several access points.  Striped bass is the favorite here.  Go on weekdays to avoid the weekend boat traffic.  Tides are an important factor.  Great place to catch. 


Worden's Pond, South Kingstown.  (Ice fishing on Worden's Pond above).  Acres:  1,075; Av. depth: 4 ft; Max. depth: 7 ft.  Fish:  Largemouth bass, chain pickerel, chain-redfin, northern pike, bluegill, common sunfish, yellow perch, white perch, brown bullhead, landlocked alewife, golden shiner, white sucker, chub sucker, smallmouth bass.

Wood River:  Exeter - Hope Valley. Wyoming Pond at exit 3 or Frying Pan Pond- kayak up from Barberville Dam.  Trout and salmon stocked.

Waiting for April... Browning Mill Pond

Browning Mill Pond, (Arcadia Pond):  Acres:  46; Av.depth: 4 ft; max depth: 6 ft.  An early season place- before mid-June.  Fish:  yellow perch, bluegill and pumpkinseed sunfish, black crappie, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, brown bullhead, American eel, chub sucker.
